Football, Cheer, Dance uniforms, and other equipment are ordered during the registration window and cannot be returned. Refunds may be issued only after submitting a request to the Madison YFC President and are subject to Board approval. Madison YFC recognizes that circumstances arise that prevent an athlete’s participation through no fault of his/her own. The lack of desire to participate is NOT grounds for reimbursement. Madison YFC permits reimbursement on a case-by-case basis. The registration processing fee is non-refundable.
Football Registration Fee includes helmet, chin strap, shoulder pads, game jersey, and game pants. After the last game of the season, the parent/legal guardian is responsible for returning the helmet, chin strap, and shoulder pads in good condition. The game jersey and game pants are yours to keep. Cheer Registration Fee includes uniform, pom poms and shoes and are yours to keep at the end of the season. Dance Registration includes uniform and jazz shoes.
Players must provide a completed registration packet, the player's last report card, valid physical and be NSID verified prior to any equipment being issued to the participant as well as the participant to be able to play in any games per the AYF rules.
Late Registration
Once the registration window closes, if more spots are available, there may be an opportunity for late registration.
Volunteers are important to Madison Youth Football and Cheer! Your participation matters and is crucial to our goal to provide the best equipment and facilities we can for our young athletes. We ask each family to donate FOUR (4) hours of your time during the season to help provide concession stand and/or run the entrance gates to collect admission money at each home game. All volunteer opportunities will be announced with Signup Genius prior to each game.

DownloadSeason Practice typically starts in mid-July.
Practice days and times are scheduled by the head coaches. Practices are typically up to 3 times per week. Practice times will occur sometime between 5-8pm. This is the time allotted to us by Palmer Park for practice. The length of practice and how many days per week vary depending on team performance and availability of the field. The first week of practice is conditioning mandated by our sanctioning body. Plan to be at practice each day that week for two hours. 6U teams and Cheer may be less.
Games are on Saturdays (and some weekdays on occasion) and begin mid to late August and end the second week in November. The official schedule for 2025 has not been released yet.
6U - Athletic Clothes cleats, and mouthpiece
8U, 10U, 11U- MYFC provides helmets, chin strap, and shoulder pads for practice. Participant family provides practice jersey and practice pants, and mouth piece. Game uniforms provided by MYFC later.
