Madison Youth Football and Cheer Registration Process


2019 Football Fees

Early Registration - May 1st through May 31st:   $250

(discount will be applied at checkout)

Regular Registration - June 1st through July 19th: $295

2019 Cheer Fees

Early Registration - May 1st through May 31st: $195

(discount will be applied at checkout)

Regular Registration - June 1st through July 19th: $235

2019 Flag Football Fees  - $150

*Note: Registrations occuring after July 1st will be charged an additional $25 for rush jobs on uniforms


Refund Policy

Cheer uniforms, game jerseys and other equipment are ordered during the registration window and cannot be returned. Refunds may be issued only after submitting a request to the Madison YFC President and are subject to Board approval.  Madison YFC recognizes that circumstances arise that prevent an athlete’s participation through no fault of his/her own. The lack of desire to participate is NOT grounds for reimbursement.  Madison YFC permits reimbursement on a case-by-case basis. The registration processing fee is non-refundable.

Additional Information

Football Registration Fee includes helmet, chin strap, shoulder pads, game jersey, and game pants. After the last game of the season, the parent/legal guardian is responsible for returning the helmet, chin strap, shoulder pads, and game pants in good condition. The game jersey is yours to keep.  Cheer Registration Fee includes uniform, pom poms and hair bow and are yours to keep at the end of the season. 

Players must provide a completed registration packet, the player's last report card, and a copy of the participants Birth Certificate prior to any equipment being issued to the participant as well as the participant to be able to play in any games per the AYF rules. 


Volunteer Participation

Volunteers are important to Madison Youth Football and Cheer! Your participation matters and is crucial to our goal to provide the best equipment and facilities we can for our young athletes.  We ask each family to donate FOUR (4) hours of your time during the season to help provide concession stand and/or run the entrance gates to collect admission money at each home game. Team moms will announce all volunteer opportunities prior to each game.   

Each team is authorized four (4) coaches and one (1) team parent for a total of five (5) official positions. Cheer is authorized two (3) coaches and one (1) team parent. When does Practice Season begin?

Season Practice starts the 3rd week in July

How many days a week and how long are practices?

Practice days and times are scheduled by the head coaches. Practices are typically up to 3 times per week. Practice times will occur sometime between 5-7:30. This is the time allotted to us by Palmer Park for practices. 

When are the games?

Games are on Saturdays (and some weekdays on occasion) and begin after Labor Day and end the first week in November. The official schedule for 2019 has not been released yet, but will be posted to the website when it is available.
